The Adams Story: A Transformation Model for Student Achievement

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Discover how a persistently low performing elementary school closed the achievement gap. Implementing the School Transformation Model resulted in early indicators of progress. A comprehensive system of family support, wrap-around services, and rigorous and relevant learning experiences within a caring and supportive environment, has served as a catalyst to achieve double-digit gains.

Learner Outcomes:
1. Recognize the essential components contributing to a successful School Transformation Model. 2. Analyze your district's culture, practices, systems and structures as they relate to the essential components to determine how this model would be replicable locally.
